World Environment Day, United Nations Global Compact

The World Environment Day presents a great opportunity to encourage worldwide awareness and action to ensure the lasting protection of the planet and its natural resources. In this sense, it can be said that Entertainment Solutions is by definition a company committed to the environment. It was born to give answer, from a technological perspective, to a clear challenge: To progressively reduce the use of paper and the indiscriminate felling of our trees. Nowadays, Entertainment Solutions participates actively on United Nations Global Compact’s 2020 agenda, ensuring that we take steps to contribute to different socially responsible causes.

Our contribution to the environment

Entertainment Solutions’ products aim to be a trend in the Hospitality Sector. ZAFIRO, the Interactive Platform based on IPTV, has already avoided the use of tons of paper among our customers in 50 countries, thanks the offer of personalized services through in-room TVs and mobile devices. On the other hand, EMERALD aims to raise awareness amongst new generation networks which are more responsible with the environment.

ES helps to make processes simpler and more dynamic while raising awareness about the importance of working in a environmental protection framework. A good example of this can be found in our Management System. It helps our employees and suppliers to work in a responsible way, promoting paperless processes and generating a critical awareness to face the main environmental challenges.
